Very good book - with interesting history of MC Drag Racing

Drag racing seems to be a place of great inovation and creative engineering. I especially liked the quotes from some of the pioneers in the sport and the early days when rules were slack and speeds went up. Rev on the redline...!

Absorbing and Totally Fascinating

You cannot help but notice John's obsession with drag racing as you read this book. Through meticulous research and dozens of personal interviews, this book is the first truly comprehensive history of drag racing. I hold a high bar for motorcycle books since reading several by Allan Girdler on Harleys (XR-750 and Harley-Davidson Racing, 1934-1986 are likely of your interest). I found this beautiful book authentic and special. If you are looking for great historical content from the early days to present and drool-worthy photos, this is an awesome book for you.
